The managing director of SANASA International Ms. Samadanie Kiriwandeniya attended the second Asia Pacific Regional Farmers Forum which was held on October 26-27 in Bangkok, Thailand. She was able to meet the AFA team and key FO leaders from 15 countries, and also witness the dynamics of FO-IFAD engagement in the Asia Pacific region. With the new knowledge gained and the new partnerships built NIA is hopeful that in 2023, the FO4A project will be able to support the smallholder farmers in Sri Lanka to become resilient and market aligned through their cooperatives.
