SANASA Campus is a full-fledged Non-State Degree Awarding Institute located upon a picturesque hill, rich in biodiversity in the Kegalle District, offering students an opportunity to learn and prepare themselves for careers in the field of sustainable development. The campus employs the services of some of Sri Lanka’s most brilliant minds; educators who inspire in students the passion to acquire and explore knowledge and cooperative thought-leaders and practitioners in multiple spheres.

SANASA Campus offers specialized Degree, Diploma and Certificate programs, in Financial Services, Management, Regional Science, and Inclusive development. This resplendent facility in Kegalle sits truly in harmony with nature, with an environment that fosters creativity, recreation and continuous research and growth.

Most courses offered by the Campus are practical with an embedded development-orientated fieldwork component, enabling students to obtain a real-life understanding about the practical application of the theories they learn in the classroom.

With the recognition from the Ministry of Higher Education and the University Grants Commission as a Degree Awarding Institute in 2014, the Campus has been offering three Bachelor of Science degrees in  Regional Science and Planning, Insurance and Risk Management and  Banking and Finance.

Centre for cooperative and Community Studies (CCCS)

In addition to the formal education programs, SANASA Campus offers a wide range of educational services to improve the capacities of the community through the Centre for cooperative and Community Studies.  These programs have been designed to enhance the theoretical knowledge and skills of the management and leadership of community-based organizations, especially those in the cooperative sector.  The programs focus on upgrading the overall career position of employees engaged in the cooperative sector for better performance and social value creation.

The lecturer panel of CCCS comprises senior development experts with years of practical experience in working with the community to provide deeper and realistic exposure to the relevant subjects covered in its programs. The mode of education includes classroom lectures using modern teaching and learning facilities, interactive sessions, field visits, group works, and case studies.
