SEVA Consultancies project was designed with the partnership of the Leeds + project of the ILO, to improve the access of the MSMEs and cooperatives to business development services and financial services through strengthening advisory services in the Northern province (SEVA Consultancies project). LEED+ project implemented by ILO in the Northern project had identified the lack of access to financial and non-financial services as one key impediment to the growth of the MSMEs and the cooperatives in the Northern Province. While a BDS market exists (though their capacity is not always up to the mark), poor knowledge about them as well as non-compliance to their requirements often The SEVA Consultancies Project was designed in partnership with the Leeds + project of the IL, to improve the access of the MSMEs and cooperatives to business development and financial services through strengthening advisory services in the Northern Province.  LEEDS+ project implemented by the ILO in the Northern Province had identified the lack of access to financial and non-financial services as one of the key impediment to the growth of the MSMEs and cooperatives in the region. It was found that although a business development services (BDS) market exists, poor knowledge about them, as well as non-compliance to their requirements, often restrict accessibility.

The LEEDS+ team approached SANASA International to design a solution and the outcomes was a market-based financial advisory programme and a common SME service provider platform. 

The project supports developing a market-based advisory programme for SMEs and cooperatives that struggle to access finance and secure markets for their products.
